CTL EUROCOLLEGE holds an Erasmus+ Charter and is actively involved in the Erasmus+ programme. The college aims in preparing proposals for Key Action 1, Key Action 2 and Key Action 3 and to shape networks with Higher Education Institutions, public and private organizations. CTL EUROCOLLEGE cooperates with a number of Higher Education Institutions in the field of business administration, computing, travel & tourism and hospitality.

Erasmus + Policy Statement

The Institution aims to:

 

Provide the opportunity to students and staff to further their education, knowledge, training and experiences.
Provide the opportunity to meet people from various cultures and backgrounds.
Expand the collaboration with other Higher Education Institutions providing the opportunity to improve the quality of its programmes.
Provide support for research activities and encourage publications in academic journals.
Inform faculty, students and the public about the Erasmus+ activities and its important benefits.
Provide technological and any other form of support in research projects and mobility actions.
Offer career advancement to the participants.
Recognize transferred credits and include them in students’ academic records.
Give students an inclusive education that fosters a spirit of acceptance and respect of others regardless of race, colour, nationality, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, religion, and other perceived characteristics.

 

 

The Erasmus+ mobility programmes have an important impact both to the Institution and the participants.

 

 

The programmes:

 

Provide opportunities for collaboration with other Higher Education Institutions to improve the quality of its academic programmes.
Provide to participants the opportunity for inclusive education and to meet people from various cultures and backgrounds so as to respect uniqueness in others and foster a spirit of acceptance regardless of their perceived characteristics.
Offer opportunities through inbound and outbound mobility to exchange knowledge and practices with colleagues from other Institutions regarding teaching methods, technology and other good practices.
Strengthen the quality of services offered by the Institution through mobility and cross-border cooperation.
Provide opportunities to create a promising research environment for all the participants.
Provide opportunities to expand the network of the Institution’s collaboration with other academics.
Provide opportunities to students and staff to further their education, knowledge, training and experiences at other Institutions abroad.
Strengthen the Institution’s attempt to achieve its aim in accordance with its social contribution to produce highly qualified students/staff.
Support the Institution’s mission to empower students in achieving their goals by providing excellent educational and transfer opportunities.

 

 

The Institution follows a set of good practices in order to safeguard the successful completion of all the above:

Established an Erasmus+ Committee which strives to secure the integrity, transparency and fairness of the selection process for the Erasmus+ programmes.
Provides incentives and information to students and staff through seminars in order to draw their interest to register in mobility programmes.
Provides Erasmus+ Days to give the opportunity to participants to share their experiences with others.
Follows a well set of procedures that secure the right selection of participants.
Follows a well set of procedures that safeguard the successful completion of the mobility.
Maintains excellent communication with its partners.
Provides travelling and cultural support to participants.
Provides linguistic support by promoting tools provided by the Erasmus+.
Provides academic records containing full, accurate information regarding students’ achievements at the end of the mobility period.

Erasmus + Committee

The Erasmus+ Committee aims to design a strategy for the Ctl Eurocollege and its Erasmus+ programme. The committee evaluates the progress of the programme and makes suggestions to management.

 

 

The objectives of the Committee:

 

To develop the Erasmus+ strategy.
To evaluate the progress of strategy implementation.
To expand the collaboration with other Higher Education Institutions providing the opportunity to improve the quality of its programmes.
To provide opportunities to exchange knowledge and practices with colleagues from other Institutions regarding teaching methods, technology and other good practices.
To provide learning and teaching opportunities to students, faculty and staff.
To strengthen the Institution’s attempt to achieve its aim in accordance with its social contribution to produce highly qualified students/staff.
To provide to participants the opportunity to meet people from various cultures and backgrounds so as to respect uniqueness in others and foster a spirit of acceptance regardless of their perceived characteristics.
To support the Institution’s mission to empower students in achieving their goals by providing excellent educational and transfer opportunities.
To design projects with selected partners.
To publish articles and papers in academic journals.
To inform the faculty, students and the public about the Erasmus+ activities.

 

 

Functions of the Committee:

 

To prepare the process of selection of candidates to participate in the Erasmus+ programme.
To monitor and ensure the transparency of the selection process.
To evaluate the eligibility of candidates.
To ensure that all required agreements and documents are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
To safeguard that all required information regarding travelling and culture is passed on to the participants to ensure the successful completion of their mobility.
To provide academic record containing full, accurate information regarding their achievements at the end of the mobility period.
To exchange ideas and suggestions with committee members, academics and experts of different fields.
To promote the Erasmus+ programme to the college and society.
To involve students and faculty in Erasmus+ projects that will be beneficial for the participants, the college and society.

The committee strives to secure the integrity, transparency and fairness of the Erasmus+ programme.

Open Call

Ctl Eurocollege is accepting applications from both incoming and outgoing students and staff interested in participating in Erasmus+ mobility programme KA 131.

 

 

Through the mobility programme the participants will have the opportunity to further their education, knowledge, training and experiences at other institutions abroad and have the opportunity to meet people from various cultures and backgrounds.

 

 

Candidate students must successfully complete at least one semester of study, have good academic performance (≥2.00) with no discipline issues.

 

 

Credits earned at other Institutions do not carry quality points and are not calculated into students’ Grade Point Averages and Cumulative Point Averages.

 

 

All applications will be reviewed by the Erasmus+ Committee. The prospective candidates will be interviewed and selected by the Committee.

Application Procedures

The College has an open admission policy and is focused on educational excellence and the achievement of equity among the different communities it serves. CTL EUROCOLLEGE holds an Erasmus+ Charter and welcomes applications for temporary admission/teaching/training.

CTL Students come from a diverse range of background and form a warm, tightly-knit hub of multiculturalism, which significantly contributes to both the academic and personal development of our Students.

Application deadlines

Applications from nominated students must reach us until 30/7 for Fall semester and until 30/11 for Spring Semester.

Language requirements

The language of instruction at CTL is English therefore all candidate students must have at least B1 CEFR level.

 

 

Step 1

Once students have been authorized and nominated by their home university to study temporarily at CTLEurocollege they should complete the corresponding online expression of interest form. Please follow the link below:

Step 2

Students receive a list with offered courses together with a list with required documents they must send:

 

  • Α certificate signed by their home University attesting your participation in the programme
  • Copy of your passport or identity card
  • One passport-size photograph
  • Official Academic transcripts
  • Certificate of language proficiency
  • Proof of insurance coverage


Step 3

When students choose their courses, they will receive the syllabi to be approved by their coordinator in order to confirm that they are compatible with their programme of study.

 

Step 4

Once the approval is granted, Students receive a Letter of Acceptance stating their courses, the Academic Calendar, the Fachtsheet and OLA instructions. After that students must initiate the OLA procedure. They will receive instructions how to prepare and approve their OLA.

 

Step 5

Upon their arrival, they must present themselves to the Academic Office and complete their registration presenting the Letter of Acceptance and identity card or passport. The Academic Administrators will provide them with all information and guide them how to use the ELMS platform.

Outgoing students

Once you have been nominated by the Erasmus+ Committee to study temporarily at a partner Institution you should submit the following documents to the receiving Institution:

  • A certificate signed by CTL attesting your participation in the programme
  • An invitation letter from the receiving Institution (for international students)
  • Police clearance certificate (for international students)
  • Copy of your passport or identity card
  • One passport-size photograph
  • Official Academic transcripts
  • Proof of insurance coverage
  • Any other document required by the receiving Institution

The language requirements vary for each Institution therefore specific instructions will be provided to you.


 

Students are required to take the language assessment test as soon as they have been selected to participate in the programme. They also encouraged to take language lessons provided by the EU Academy of the native language of the country they are travelling to.

Deadlines

Deadlines vary for each Institution therefore specific information will be provided to you.

On completion of the mobility the participants are obliged to complete the participant’s report and the EU Survey through an email sent by Erasmus+. They also need to submit a testimonial and all necessary documentation and receipts to the Coordinator. These include boarding pass, travelling tickets reservation, accommodation agreement, transportation receipts etc. The Erasmus+ Coordinator is responsible for keeping all necessary documentation in the corresponding archive.

 

 

Students submit the academic records provided by the receiving Institution to the Erasmus+ Coordinator. The Erasmus+ Coordinator passes on this records to the Academic Office and the Dean of the sending institution who evaluate and transfer the ECTS of the course units which have been successfully completed. Credits earned at other Institutions do not carry quality points and are not calculated into students’ Grade Point Averages and Cumulative Point Averages.

Language requirements

The language of instruction at CTL is English therefore all candidate Faculty must have at least B2 CEFR level. For the administrative staff a B1 CEFR level is requiered.


Documents required

The following documents should be sent to the Erasmus+ Coordinator:

 

 

  • A letter signed by your home Institution attesting your participation in the programme
  • Copy of your passport or identity card
  • One passport-size photograph
  • CV
  • Field of expertise – Courses that you are interested in teaching (for Faculty)

 

The Lecturer inbound mobility period for each semester is set according to the current semester and is agreed with the Academic Office.

Mobility period - Fall Semester

From the third week of October until the end of December.
Midterm Examination Period and Christmas Holidays are excluded. These are stated on the current academic calendar.
